Ideas for the main story

Guitar heroes hit the country, and the rockers.
This story would be highlighting the resent success of the new Guitar Hero game and the competition with the rock band game.

Band gets new gear.
This story is about a new band that plays a gig and has new gear. Could have a part were the band were interviewed.

Magazine starts radio station.
The magazine is starting a new radio station called RAD Radio, An Interview with the staff, who made the magazine possible.

The naming process

These are the names that I had come up with and the ideas that I had to make the name more appealing. The first thing I thought was that the name could be a play on words or a work, I started of with Rock, and came up with words like Rokc, Nock Etc. I thought that playing with the work Rock was to dull, so I tried playing with abbreviations, and thought I would be a good idea to have Network in the name of the magazine because that sums up with a idea for the main story for the magazine. Some of the names were S.R.N (Sound Rock Network), G.R.N (General Rock Network), R.M.N (Rock Music Network), but they seemed dull and repetitive. So I decided to leave the name till later on but the name just popped in to my head while I was in bed, R.A.D (Rock After Death), it seems to be a good name of the magazine and the abbreviations are another word that is used to describe coolness, it is a little out of date but that can be worked around.

The project

The project that I have been working on is still in the development stages and I am behind my deadline for what work I have got to complete, I still think that I will be able to catch up with the amount of work that should have been completed up to this point.

My project is a music magazine called R.A.D or Rock after Death. The project will consist of a front cover and a middle page spread, about the main story on the front cover. The main story is still in development stages and so are the photos that will need to be taken.

I believe it will be hard to catch up with the work that I haven’t completed, but that is my own fault.

Introductions

This in an introduction of my electronic media diary, i will be going through the steps that i took through my course. I will try to keep the electronic diary up to date with the activities and discussions that happen in class, and work that i have completed also the work that i am in the middle of creating. i hope that is blog is a suitable way for people to understand the amount of effort that i put in to my work and to see if they like that way that i presented my ideas.
